About the Item
An outstanding sapphire ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This breathtaking ring is crafted in 18k yellow gold, and features a twelve-prong set 1.60ct sapphire. The round cut sapphire is wonderfully faceted, and displays a cornflower blue hue. The shoulders of the ring feature dainty foliage-motif engravings, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A darling ring, this piece would make a perfect addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.4mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the sapphire, which is intact and securely set.
Resizing is available.
