About the Item
A beautiful sapphire and diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 9k yellow gold, the center of this piece features a central oval cut sapphire, which is held within a twelve-prong setting, and displays a lovely deep blue hue. The diamond is surrounded by a halo of small old European diamonds, which are prong-set. The shoulders of the ring feature a graduating oval-cutout design, which adds to the unique appeal of the piece. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped "C. L
S", with a small crown, "375" purity mark, and with a small "m" and "f". A lovely piece, this ring would make a lovely engagement ring or addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7 could be easily re-sized. The band measures 2.15mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the sapphire and diamond stones are all intact.
Resizing is available.
