About the Item

A Victorian five stone Burmese ruby ring, the three cushion-cut faceted rubies graduating from the centre with one pear-shaped ruby set on each end, the rubies estimated to weigh 3.5 carats in total, accompanied by The Gem Pearl Laboratory report stating to be of Burmese origin with no indication of heating, embellished with eight small rose-cut diamonds set in-between, all set to a gold mount with scroll engraved sides and shoulders, circa 1890, measuring 2.2 x 0.6cm, finger size K ½ , gross weight 4.7 grams. This antique ring is in very good condition for its age. Unmarked, tested as 18ct gold. This incredible Victorian five stone Burmese ruby ring comes from the collection of Bentley Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. The ring features five mesmerizing unheated Burmese rubies of deep purplish red hue gracefully graduate from the centre, complemented by two pear-shaped rubies at each end. Their vibrant hue is accentuated by delicate rose-cut diamonds interspersed between them. The intricate gold mount, adorned with scroll engravings, adds to the romantic allure of this piece. A testament to the exceptional quality of Victorian jewellery.
