Each diamond is unique. As dealers in antique and vintage jewels, we know that to be true of antique diamonds that are cut by hand. Yet modern diamonds, too, tell their own stories – especially those in unusual cuts and colours, those worthy of building a jewel around them. A 1.43 ct marquise-cut diamond in a glamorous champagne hue is the focal point of this gold ring. The diamond was mined in Australia's famous Argyle mine, renowned for its coloured diamonds. 90% of the world's pink diamonds as well as those in various shades of gold, cognac and champagne are sourced from the Argyle mine in Western Australia. As the mine is anticipated to close by the end of 2020, Argyle diamonds are becoming ever more sought after. The ring is in perfect condition and comes with the original sales receipt issued by jewellers Linneys of Subiaco, Western Australia in March 1992. In addition, an independent certificate of a renowned gemological laboratory has established a more recent replacement value. Both the receipt as well as the certificate will be delivered with the ring. MATERIALS A diamond, marquise cut, 1.43 ct, champagne, si 2 diamonds, brilliant cut, 0.04 ct altogether, Top Wesselton/G, si Yellow gold 750/000 resp. 18k HALLMARKS "750" and maker's mark of Linney's, Subiaco in the shank RING SIZE US 3 3/4 UK G 1/2 German 46 We will gladly adjust this ring to a size of your choice, free of charge. Please allow approx. 4-5 business days for our goldsmith to complete the size alteration. IMPORTANT: Please note that altered rings cannot be returned. CERTIFICATE Delivery with original sales receipt dated 20th of March, 1992 as well as with detailed independent certificate of the DEGEB (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Edelsteinbewertung/German Association for Gemstone Evaluation) in Idar-Oberstein dated 23rd of March, 2020.
