About the Item
Whoa there gorgeous! This Amazing Vintage Filigree Diamond and Sapphire Engagement Ring has the "something old" and "something blue" thing down, and is just all around spectacular! Crafted in 18K White Gold, the design features stunning scrolling open work filigree studded with Sapphires, and finished with beaded edges and hand engraving. In the center, the ring holds one Old European Cut Diamond, approximately 0.70ct in weight, of I/SI2 quality. On the sides are 4 Square Cut Blue Sapphires, totaling 0.24ct, of fine quality. So gorgeous!
Other Important Details:
The ring is a Size 5.5.
The ring is stamped "18K", and has been tested to be 18K. There is also a small maker's mark, OB, which may be for the well know vintage jeweler Ostby Barton.
The ring weighs 2.3 grams.
The ring is 9.0mm wide at the widest point. The center diamond is 5.5mm in diameter.
The total carat weight for this ring is approximately 0.94ct.
