A vintage five stone emerald and gold ring, the five octagonal-cut emeralds weighing 1.10 carats in total, accompanied by GCS report stating to be of Zimbabwean origin, all claw-set in yellow gold mount of Victorian style with carved shoulders, hallmarked 18ct gold, London, 1998, measuring 2 x 0.6cm, finger size M, gross weight 4.9 grams

A charming vintage five stone ring featuring emeralds. This ring is on sale at Bentley
Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. Rings with a five stone design were extremely popular in the Victorian period and were also commonly known as curved half hoop designs. Half hoop rings were often given as engagement rings, and had deep romantic sentiment attached to them. The emeralds featured in this ring shine beautifully, and their rich and verdant colour contrasts wonderfully with the 18-carat yellow gold mount.
