Our 18K gold Hallmarked Birmingham 1903 snake ring has 2 ruby eyes and 5 diamonds decorating its head. Since ancient times snakes have been seen as a symbol for “Eternal love” and "Eternal life" so they were and still are often used as wedding rings, commitment rings or engagement rings. Snake rings became popular in England when Queen Victoria received an emerald snake ring as her engagement ring from her beloved Prince Albert.
