Here we have a true “imperial” topaz weighing an impressive 5.62 carats. Many times, non-precious topaz is called imperial when it does not have the correct color with a red component to it. This topaz on the other hand has a rich red-orange color that is textbook imperial, which is hard to find. Complementing the fine gem are 1.35 carats of baguette-cut diamonds set around the topaz in a ballerina style. Hand-fabricated in platinum, this ring is for someone who appreciates and understands fine colored gemstones.
