About the Item
Romantic and graceful, this Art Nouveau ring (circa 1890) is crafted in 18k gold and designed in an elongated floral navette form. At its heart rests a vivid ruby, and a glittering rose cut diamond, embodying the naturalistic elegance and flowing lines characteristic of the era.
The face of the ring measures approximately 0.95 inches by 0.3 inches wide, giving it a refined, elongated silhouette on the hand. It is currently a size 7, though it may be resized for an additional charge. The ring remains in excellent antique condition, with gold and stones beautifully preserved. It weighs 2.86 grams.
The gold has been professionally verified through X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming its 18k content. The ruby and diamond have also been assessed for authenticity, underscoring the quality of this piece.
