About the Item
The port color of the Lucious garnet has fiery highlights. It is strong in beauty and in workmanship. The garnet is 4.75 and though little of the 18kt gold shows on the front, the color is perfect, setting off the diamond and garnet brilliance. The garnet is a faceted oval. The ring appears to be Victorian but was made in c.1990. Three brilliant cut diamonds are at the top and bottom of the garnet. Two diamonds hug the sides. Diamond weight estimate is .30 cts. The girdle is masterfully made with vertical open prongs. Shoulders are architectural with banded elements that echo the under gallery. and with it raise the ring 1/4 inch from the finger. The slender shank can be sized by your jeweler with no problem. The size is now 5 1/2. Height is 13/16ths. Width for the diamond and get us 5/16 of an inch. Weight is 5.2 grams
