Eyes Open. Cape on. This special edition eye ring is made in collaboration with artist-run collective, Wide Awakes. Mati is a hand-carved oval signet shaped ring featuring angled grooves on all sides and beaded metal accents. The 'pupil’ is either a flush set pear-shaped faceted lab-created alexandrite stone or an opal cabochon. The ring is also hollowed on the inside and comes in a soft satin finish. Both of the stones were chosen to reflect the mission of Wide Awakes: Alexandrite is said to be the most powerful gemstone to escalate spiritual evolution - assisting in centering the self and discovering one’s inner resilience through a commitment to joy. Opal is an expansive stone that invites wearers to explore true and spontaneous actions and the release of one’s inhibitions. It encourages both freedom and independence while also enhancing one’s creativity, originality and cosmic consciousness. Sizes: 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 8, 9 (US) Proceeds from this ring will go to support the action-led public programming of Wide Awakes and For Freedoms.
