Il cammeo, databile alla fine del XIX secolo, è realizzato in agata e inserito in una montatura in oro a 18 carati, il cui gambo è composto da quattro sottili fasce che, nella parte superiore, si separano per contornare il cammeo. Al centro, dunque, si ha un’elegante raffigurazione di un profilo femminile in cui, l’incisione di grande qualità, mette in risalto la raffinata capigliatura e i delicati tratti somatici della donna.
The cameo, dating back to the end of the 19th century, is made of agate and inserted in an 18-carat gold frame, whose stem is made up of four thin bands which, in the upper part, separate to surround the cameo. In the centre, therefore, there is an elegant depiction of a female profile in which the high quality engraving highlights the refined hair and delicate somatic features of the woman.
