About the Item
The vintage natural diamonds in this expertly crafted signet ring were reclaimed from estate jewellery and reset into this new 10 karat yellow gold ring. The primary diamond is framed in a hand engraved hexagon with a matte background. The edges are highlighted with 74 graduated pavé diamonds that go all the way around.
Throughout history, jewellery has been refashioned to suit the tastes of new owners as they are passed from one generation to the next. Due to their natural hardness, diamonds show almost no sign of wear over time and they retain their brilliance.
These reclaimed diamonds have been graded by independent gemological appraisers for colour and clarity.
Choosing to reuse diamonds is an eco-friendly and ethical choice that offers the same quality as a recently mined diamond.
The appraisal for the original diamond ring from 1967 is included with the sale.
About the Reclaimed Natural Diamonds:
• 2.04 Total Carat Weight
• Centre diamond is a brilliant cut round weighing .70 carats. The diamond was carefully removed from a ring circa 1967.
• Centre diamond’s colour grading is E (colourless) and its clarity grading is VVS1-2 (very very slightly included).
• 74 graduated pavé diamonds measuring approximately 1.3 to 1.7mm, weighing approximately 1.34 carats.
• The graduated pavé diamonds colour grading is F-G-H and their clarity is VS average.

Jewelry design and craftsmanship including stone setting takes place in our studio in Niagara on the Lake, Canada. High-quality diamond setting can vastly improve the brilliance and shine of a piece of jewelry. It brings out the beauty of each gemstone.

No ordinary band, each excellent cut diamond is meticulously set in 14k white gold two-piece ring to create a sophisticated design that stands out.
The rings are customizable and the combinations you choose will reflect your style!
Playful and sculptural, the two-piece Switching was designed by Julie Dyck and patented in April, 2000. The outside ring is composed of an infinity symbol that’s been folded up and the wedge inserts can be interchanged with other designs featuring gemstones and textured gold. It’s an ingenious way to get the stacked-ring look with one very versatile ring.
Switchrings are also very comfortable. The ring design tapers towards the back so you get the look of a wide band without the bulk underneath.
Each ring is sized so that they fit perfectly together. This is a Ring size 7, we offer the complimentary option to customize the size upon order.
