About the Item

Antique Coin Ring skillfully crafted of a copy of 1887 British Gold Half Sovereign coin and wide band. Both the band and the coin are made of solid 14K Gold (tested). Hallmarked 585. It was made to fit the shapes of a human finger for the best comfort and demonstration. It doesn't twist sideways if the size is right, is very well-balanced, and has a firm construction. The coin's Ø = 19.3mm as it should be. A bust of Queen Victoria (Jubilee Head) on the observed side is surrounded by the inscription "VICTORIA DEI GRATIA.” On the reverse iconic design of the Heraldic shield and crown with the inscription of the Year 1887. Size Ø US 8.5 / Ø 18.53 mm. The Crown is 24 mm at its widest in front's center and 5 mm wide on the opposite side. Weight: 7 gr. Used fine condition, naturally aged and a bit worn observed side, minor scratches. The coin is soldered to the frame very firmly. Gemstones may often look differently in different light and weather conditions and time of the day, both indoors and outdoors. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. Some buyers tried to make return of the items and to avoid paying shipping and restock expenses claimed that : " color is different from that on image .. " there are inclusions that I didn't notice " "it looks smaller than I expected" ! Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post.
