About the Item
A true piece of history, this extraordinary ring dates back to the early 1800s in the Georgian period. Sat atop the ring a seal of garnet features the imprint of a lady. The imprint is engraved in such a way that, when pressed into melted wax, the image would appear, thus sealing your letter with the design. The deep red garnet has been set into 18 carat yellow gold. The hand made piece features beautiful carving work across the entirety of the piece, from collet to band.
