Natural Australian Black Boulder Matrix Opal 18k Yellow Gold Oval Signet Ring.
A beautiful 3.45 carat natural black opal with a bright green, blue and purple play of colour and an excellent oval cabochon cut. Set in an 18k yellow gold rubover bezel signet ring.
This boulder matrix opal has a black body colour typical of fine opals from Winton, Queensland.
This opal has an excellent oval cabochon cut showing the colour beautifully. The stone measures 12x9mm.
Please ignore the white reflections on the gemstone in the pictures, these aren’t inclusions or marks, just from the light for taking photos.
It is very difficult to photograph cabochons cut gems, this gem is in excellent condition and top quality. Looks even better in person.
The ring is brand new and never worn.
