Natural Australian Boulder Matrix Opal 18k Yellow Gold Cushion Signet Ring.
A beautiful 3.02 carat natural matrix boulder opal with a small streak of green, blue, yellow and purple play of colour. Cabochon cut into a cushion shape.
This unique opal is set in an 18k yellow gold rubover bezel signet style ring.
This boulder matrix opal has a black body colour typical of fine opals from Winton, Queensland.
This opal has an excellent oval cabochon cut showing the colour beautifully. Ring head measures 11x8.8mm.
Please ignore the white reflections on the gemstone in the pictures, these aren’t inclusions or marks, just from the light for taking photos.
It is very difficult to photograph cabochons cut gems, this gem is in excellent condition and top quality. Looks even better in person.
The ring is brand new and never worn.
Ring size UK P1/2 - US 8 - EU57. The ring is re-sizeable. Please message us with any sizing requirements before purchasing. We have an excellent team of craftsmen who can size rings to the highest possible standard.
The ring weighs 6.75g and and is fully hallmarked by Birmingham assay office to guarantee 18k gold quality.
