About the Item
A retro reversible sapphire signet ring 18 karat yellow gold, circa 1940.
This unusual and ingeniously crafted ring comprises of a deep blue cabochon sapphire, engraved with a seal to one side with a smooth polished cabochon dome to the other.
The wearer can choose to either wear the sapphire on its smooth polished dome or by using its clever integrated side release mechanism to flip over the sapphire to reveal its seal engraving.
This ring really has an impressive wow factor!

Height 1.9cm x 2.1cm width x 0.7cm depth
Components: Cabochon seal engraved sapphire, 18 karat yellow gold.
Condition - Overall the condition of the ring is really good in keeping with its general age; there are slight abrasions throughout to the surface of the gold and to the surface of the sapphire seal engraving. There is a small and slight oval shaped hole in the polished cabochon dome side of the sapphire. This does not affect the integrity of the sapphire.
