Finely detailed vintage Art Deco era family crest signet ring (circa 1920s to 1930s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
The signet ring weighs a hefty 18.7 grams. The signet mount features a castle framed with wreaths to the sides. The base of the signet mount reads in Latin the phrase 'suaviter sedfortiter' or 'Gently buy Bravely'. 'Mossburg' appears beneath and we believe this a reference to a family name. The low rise ring (4mm - 0.15 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
