About the Item

Ring for every day in solid 18K Yellow Gold decorated with natural Red Ruby of oval diamond cut 5.5 mm x 4.5 mm x 3 mm x 3.35 mm deep / ca. 0.7 ct. This Ruby is transparent of a vibrant Red color, very is likely of Ceylon origin demonstrates inclusions and internal flaws inside under x 10 magnification. Shoulders of the band with the same hand-engraved patterns. The Crown is 8 mm wide, band is 3 mm wide at most narrow. This band is unusual. The base metal is 18K Orange / Rose-tone Gold / that was plated with a layer of Yellow Gold of higher grade. Some areas of Yellow became worn and the protruding Orange/ Rose tone is shining underneath. Swedish worn hallmarks, 18K, hallmarks of the maker. Date code: Y6 / handmade in 1901. Engraved: Minne 19 15/7 04 . Swedish " Minne" means" Memory" . Size Ø 5.75 US / 16.30 mm. Sizing is possible. Weight: 2.05 grams. Apparently, it was used for some years.
