This fine and impressive diamond solitaire engagement ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with an 18k white gold setting. The vintage setting (circa 1960) displays an antique 0.42ct Old European round cut diamond (circa 1920) eight claw / prong set within an 18k white gold pierced decorated basket style setting. The pierced decorated, elevated tapering ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain 18k yellow gold ring shank which is hallmarked to the interior with the maker's mark 'W&H' and the 18k gold fineness mark (18k). The pierced decorated, eight claw setting displays an impressive feature 0.80 ct Old European cut diamond.
