About the Item
A late Victorian era ring modeled in the Georgian style, this elegant piece features a rectangular amethyst, flanked by two delicate pearls that lend a touch of soft luminosity. The arrangement is set in a 14k pale rose gold mounting, embodying understated sophistication.
The face of the ring measures approximately 0.35 inches by 0.5 inches, offering a graceful presence on the hand. It remains in good antique condition, with one very small chip to the culet on the reverse of the stone and some old glue residue beneath the pearls (visible only under magnification).
Currently a size 6.5, the ring can be professionally resized upon request for an additional charge, ensuring a tailored fit. For assurance of authenticity and quality, the gold has been professionally tested using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis and traditional acid testing, confirming its 14k purity.
