Antique Art Nouveau period Imperial period Russian Ring featuring an square cut Natural ruby and old diamond cut Diamonds arranged in fancy Eye-shaped pattern. Metal is solid 14K Rose Gold. Made in Imperial Russia ca. late 19 - early 20 cent. Hallmarked with Imperial Russian control 56 hallmarks used before 1908, makers marks. Eye or Boat shaped crown in Gold, measures 13 mm x 5 mm x 3.75 mm deep. Note - there is no Silver parts in this design. Ruby of dark Pink Red color of slightly asymmetrical hand princess cut 4mm x 4 mm or ca.0.45ct. Ruby with internal inclusions and flaws typical for natural stones. Six old diamond hand cut Diamonds. Four diamonds Ø 2mm /0.03ct each. Two Ø 1.5 mm /0.015 ct. each. Total ca.0.15ctw. Color ca. G,H /SI All stones have backs open. Size of the ring : Ø 6.5 US / Ø16.92 mm, can be sized. Weight : 1.62 grams Finest used condition. Natural tarnish on Gold. In Russia and around Rings with crown of this or similar shape are called in Russian " Лодка " or " Boat " in English.
