Victorian Ruby
Diamond Ring, Circa 1890
A romantic jewel from the late Victorian era, this antique ring showcases a vivid natural ruby, elegantly set in rich 14k gold. The band is crafted from 850 silver and is delicately accented with glittering rose cut diamonds — a timeless pairing.
The ring’s face measures approximately 0.3 inches north to south and weighs 2.13 grams. Currently a size 6, it remains in very good antique condition, with a minor chip to one crown facet and subtle wear to the culet — visible only under magnification and consistent with its age.
Metal content confirmed via XRF (X-ray fluorescence) and traditional acid testing.
