About the Item
A natural aquamarine cabochon -- round-ish, but not a perfect circle -- is set in an original ring design by Eytan Brandes, featuring classical "columns" that reach up to the center mounting.
Eytan hammered the surface throughout so that it catches dark and light reflections and looks great from every angle. The columns taper from 8.6mm to 3.7mm at the back of the ring, where the band is polished (i.e., not hammered) and a sturdy 1.2mm thick.
The aquamarine is not the clean, near-transparent aqua typically used in commercial jewelry. Our aqua is very "dirty" -- chock full o' natural inclusions, crystals, bubbles, etc. It's a rich tapestry of "flaws" that make for a beautiful, moody stone. It's 16mm in diameter x 10mm deep and weighs 21.08 carats.
The ring's face is 18mm tall and 20mm wide.
Currently a size 7, resizing is complimentary for full-price buyers and negotiable otherwise.
