About the Artist - Devta Doolan was born and raised in Wellington, New Zealand and moved to America when he was eleven. He developed an early appreciation for jewelry, requesting a silver signet ring and ID bracelet for his sixteenth birthday. Once in college, he started taking jewelry-making classes, designing pieces with stones he had collected over the years. Now a master jeweler, Devta draws inspiration from ancient adornment, sacred geometry, and the natural world, creating one-of-a-kind and limited-production jewelry that feels both primal and refined. His work often features extraordinary opals, tourmalines, and other collectible stones, chosen for their individuality and luminous character rather than convention alone.
Each Devta Doolan jewel is handmade using traditional goldsmithing techniques, emphasizing craftsmanship, durability, and authenticity.
