About the Item
This captivating ring fashioned in platinum features one center brilliant cut demantoid garnet surrounded by diamonds.
The origin of the word demantoid derives from the Flemish word 'demant' meaning diamond, due to its diamond like luster and dispersion. Hence, the term demantoid garnet refers to this very rare and unusual stone. Possessing a vibrant yellowish green color, this beautiful gem is ideal for the discerning collector. Underneath the 1.05ct demantoid are pave' set diamonds, as well as diamonds on the shoulders of the ring. Twenty four round brilliant cut diamonds weigh a total 0.64ct of overall H/I color and VS2/SI1 clarity. The design area of this ring measures just under 7/16 of an inch (0.415inch) in diameter. The sizing spring inside allows for minor adjustments to the ring size. Stamped onto the spring is PT900 (for platinum), 064 (for the total diamond weight), and 105 (for the weight of the demantoid). The ring is size 6. The last photo of this listing shows the AGL certificate indicating that the stone is natural, with excellent color stability. Gross weight 10.5 grams.
