About the Item
An impressive vintage 1940's 2 carat diamond and platinum trilogy style cocktail ring; part of our diverse vintage jewellery and estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive vintage three stone diamond ring has been crafted in platinum.
The pierced decorated setting displays a feature 1.15 ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond, claw set to the centre of the design.
The feature diamond is flanked on either side by a 0.42 ct and a 0.43 ct Old European round cut diamonds, held within claw settings.
The elevated tapering ring shoulders integrate with the claw settings and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the marks for platinum (PLAT).
This vintage 1940's trilogy ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone.
Condition
This impressive three stone cocktail ring is fine quality, set with very high color graded diamonds; although the centre diamond is graded at P1, and due to a cluster of clear inclusion to the edge of the crown, the diamond is eye clean and displays fine brilliance and presence.
The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with clear hallmarks to the interior of the shank.
