About the Item
This red cushion cut cut ruby is custom set in an antique one-of-kind diamond and platinum ring, consisting of 1 "pigeon blood red" cushion cut ruby of Burmese origin with no indications of heating treatment accompanied by AGL report no. CS55680 weighing 3.52 carats The ruby center stone is accenting by two old European cut diamonds having a respective color and clarity of I SI1-S12, and an approximate total carat weight of 1.50 carats. The setting is further accented with micro pave round brilliant cut diamonds, continued down either side of the ring in a vintage filigree style. The setting is a ring size 6.5.

A Burma ruby is preferred among all other rubies for it's deep red hue referred to as "Pigeon's Blood" red. The secluded Burmese Ruby mines, along with centuries old geo-political conflicts magnifies the rarity making these Burmese rubies incredibly difficult to export.
