About the Item

Old Ring hand - made in White Blue at the workshop of A.Tillander, famous Finish jewelry brand that once started in Imperial Russia and was in favor among Russian Nobility. It was active both in Russia and Finland and after Russian revolution of 1917 Finish branch kept on making great examples of fine jewelry. This ring was very likely made in Finland ca. 1920s -1930s. This design with secure bezel clusters is perfect for everyday/ permanent wear... and apparently in its past it was used often, maybe everyday, for long time. And it can well be used permanently again. Band and crown in solid Platinum featuring cushion cut dark Blue Sapphire 5mm x 5 mm x 3.7mm deep / ca.0.65ct flanked with old European diamond cut Diamonds Ø 4 mm x 3.2 mm deep / ca. 0.35 ct each/ color ca F,G / VS, one diamond with small chip on one facet, visible under 10X magnification only. All stones have open backs. Total weight of the stones ca. 1.35 ctw. Hallmarks : A.Tillander PT Crown is 4.25 mm deep . Size: Ø US 5.5 / 16.10 mm. Can be sized. Weight: 2.82 grams. We will not be responsible if in the process of resizing or customization any stone on the ring becomes loose, if any deformation occurs in general or if band of the ring changes shape or becomes deformed. It is often difficult or impossible to get an accurate characteristics of the weight , color and nature of inclusions without removing the stones from the settings to be weighed and examined and doing that may damage the piece.
