About the Item
A ruby and pearl ring in gold, comprising one round cut ruby and two pearls, set to a band of 18 karat yellow gold.
The round cut ruby is a gorgeous, vibrant pinkish red hue, that glows from the centre of the ring, within its square setting. The ruby is flanked by two pearls, which are pale, lustrous and well matched with one another. The pearls, too, are held within square settings, creating a timeless, geometric design. The shoulders start wide, and taper to the back of the ring, creating a band of plain, polished yellow gold. The ring is in great condition, with one of the pearls showing some signs of wear. Wear and tear acquiescent with age.
The setting of the ring measures approximately 6mm long and 11mm wide. The band is just over 2mm wide at the back.
