About the Item
A stunning natural blue sapphire is the centre of this lavish art deco ring. The 2.34 carat sapphire is oval cut, and is a clear violetish-blue colour. It is certified by the Gem and Pearl Laboratory as natural, unheated, and of Sri Lankan origin. Two 1.05 carat old cut diamonds sparkle on either side of the sapphire. They match for quality and are graded as H colour and VS1 clarity. The sapphire is held within 18 carat yellow gold claws, while the band is made of 18 carat white gold. This amazing ring was made in the 1920s, and has an Austrian hallmark.
