About the Item
A truly stunning certified sapphire and diamond trilogy ring set in 18k white gold.
This classic three stone ring is centrally set with a 1.29 carat oval blue sapphire which is four claw set in an open back triple setting. The sapphire is then flanked to each side by two matching certified round brilliant cut diamonds. The diamond settings then lead to a solid 2.5-millimetre yellow gold band.
The sapphire in this ring is beautiful. The colour can be described as a soft royal blue and the stone has plenty of life within it. It is therefore truly striking once on the finger. The contrast of the blue against the white diamonds and shank makes the piece such an elegant ring to wear. Because the setting is slightly raised it can easily be stacked with other rings such as an eternity or wedding band.
The central sapphire weighs 1.29 carats. Both siding diamonds are GIA certified and are perfectly matched being 0.40 carats each, E in colour with SI1 clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size M (USA size 6) but this can easily be resized for a perfect fit upon request. Total weight is 3.8 grams.
For size reference the head of the ring measures 1.3 x 0.7 centimeters. The ring is signed and hallmarked 750, for 18k gold, with British hallmarks.
