An Edwardian diamond and cultured pearl three-stone ring, the central cultured pearl, measuring approximately 6.85 mm diameter, set between two old brilliant-cut diamonds, weighing a total of 1.76cts, all vertical set to a gold open backed mount with diamond-set shoulders, circa 1920, later hallmarked 18ct gold London 2012, bearing the Bentley and Skinner sponsor mark, the head measuring approximately 1.9x0.7cm, gross weight 4.3 grams. Finger size L

This stunning Edwardian ring comes from the extensive collection of Bentley
Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. It features a delicate diamond set yellow gold band, on which is set a central nacreous pearl. The pearl is set between two dazzling diamonds that catch the light beautifully. This sophisticated piece is emblematic of the design of the Edwardian period, which favoured more simple styles over the more ornate styles of the Victorian period before it.
