About the Item
An exquisite 3-stone sapphire and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This lovely piece is crafted in platinum, and features a single, central sapphire resting between two sparkling old European cut diamonds. The cushion cut sapphire, which is a GIA certified unheated Ceylon sapphire, weighs approximately 2.01ct and displays an incredibly gorgeous cornflower color. The surrounding diamonds have a total approximate weight of 2.38ctw and compliment the sapphire perfectly. All of the stones are prong set and the gallery of the ring is decorated with unique cut-out details. The shoulders of the ring also feature floral cut out designs, and very small bead set diamonds. The ring is accompanied by GIA Sapphire Origin Report #5232431972, dated November of 2024, stating the Sapphire's origin as Ceylon (Sri Lanka) with no indication of heat treatment. A smoothly polished platinum band continues around the back. It is a beautiful ring that would make a perfect everyday piece or could make a lovely engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.25 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and the sapphire and diamonds are intact and securely set.
