Orloff of Denmark; 925 Sterling Silver Ring set with three Natural Cambodian Blue Zircons totaling to 5.24 carats.
This piece has been meticulously hand-crafted out of 925 sterling silver.
In the center sits a 4.04 carat blue zircon mined, polished and cut in Ratanakiri, Cambodia.
Featured as side-stones, we proudly present two remarkable, specially cut, trapezoid blue zircons that have been re-cut in Bangkok, Thailand.
These gems have a grayish blue hue with a light-medium tone and low saturation, making them 'Metallic Blue Zircons'.
The Zircon, in our opinion is a stone that can be coupled with anything and still produce a fine piece of work. Therefore we have paired it with itself, to bring forth a beauty that has been overlooked by the majority of the industry for far too long.
Natural Zircon, which is a mineral that forms naturally deep in the Earth's crust, unfortunately tends to gets mistaken with the diamond imitation 'CZ' or 'Cubic Zirconia', a man-made mineral, synthesized in a lab through the mixing of zirconium oxide powder and metals such as magnesium and calcium.
The Zircon is an utterly outstanding gem that can take up to several million years to form and survive countless geological events, it simply does not deserve to be mistaken for a synthetic that can be manufactured in as little as 5 days.
