About the Item
This 1.82-carat round salt-and-pepper diamond has a gray, translucent body with a dark concentration of inclusions toward the center. The brilliant cut faceting creates flashes of light around the edges, while the interior holds your attention with its depth.
Two trillion-cut white diamonds (0.38 carats total) flank the center stone, their triangular shape and bright sparkle providing sharp contrast to the moody gray of the salt-and-pepper diamond. It's a pairing that makes both types of stone more visible.
At Ursula Rickmers Jewelry, we set this ring in 18k rose gold. Six claw prongs with teardrop shapes secure the center diamond, while the trillions are held by three prongs each. From the side, the setting reveals an open cathedral gallery with architectural lines that allow light to reach the stones from below. The band tapers elegantly toward the setting with a knife-edge profile.
The ring is handcrafted in our Istanbul atelier, steps from the Grand Bazaar, where jewelers have been refining their craft for centuries.
The inclusions in this diamond formed over millions of years in a configuration that exists in no other stone. Whether worn as an alternative engagement ring or chosen for your own reasons, this three-stone ring has real presence on the hand.
