This sapphire and diamond 3-stone ring is offered by Shreve, Crump
Low. This blue oval cut sapphire is custom set in a handcrafted Shreve, Crump
Low one-of-kind platinum ring, consisting of 1 majestic cornflower blue oval cut sapphire weighing 12.38 carats. The sapphire center stone is accenting by two matching half moon diamonds having a respective color and clarity of F-G VS1-VS2, and an approximate total carat weight of 1.40 carats. The setting is further accented with a halo of micro pave round brilliant cut diamonds around the center sapphire, and continued down either side of the ring having a total weight of 1.95 carats and a respective color and clarity F-G color VS quality. The setting is a ring size 6.5, and is inscribed with our maker's hallmark "SC&L" "PLAT" on inside of ring shank.

Low Graduate Gemologist commentary: While not officially graded by a gem laboratory, we believe this oval cut blue sapphire to be of Ceylon origin (present day Sri Lanka) with indications of heat treatment.
