About the Item
This beautiful ring dates back to the 1880s and is classically Victorian in its style. To the centre sits a 1.00 carat, oval cut sapphire flanked by old cut diamonds. The vivid blue sapphire is a natural stone, completely unheated. Each of the accompanying diamond weighs 0.40 carat of matching quality, estimated as H in colour and SI in clarity. Set in between the three primary stones are an additional four small old cut diamonds weighing 0.02 carat each and complementing the trilogy perfectly. Carving work adorns this stunning piece along gallery and shank, all hand carved from a single piece of 18 carat yellow gold.
