About the Item
A remarkable 1.30 carat natural sapphire proudly sits between two 0.60 carat old cut diamonds. The diamonds are of excellent quality being estimated as G in colour and VS-SI in clarity. In between the sapphire and diamonds are some small rose cut diamonds adding a touch more character to this Victorian engagement ring. To each corner of the ring, another rose cut diamond has been set, this time encased by the gold setting. Incredible detailed carving can be seen on each side of the ring and down the shoulders, all done by hand in the 1880s.
