The pierced decorated square setting displays five claw / prong set modern brilliant round cut diamonds displayed in a cross formation. Four round cut natural rubies accent the four outer corners of the square shaped design. The flared elevated ring shoulders are accented with a recessed central portion which blends seamlessly with the substantial hallmarked shank. The interior of the shank is clearly hallmarked with the 18k fineness mark 750, the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head), the gold guarantee mark (crown) and date letter for 2003 (D). A fine and impressive antique 1.05 carat diamond and 0.87 carat natural ruby, 18 karat yellow gold, 18 karat white gold set vintage cocktail ring; part of our antique and vintage jewelry/jewelry collections. This fine and impressive vintage cocktail ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with an 18k white gold setting. The pierced decorated frame displays a fine and impressive antique 1.05Ct Old European round cut diamond (circa 1900), claw / prong set in subtle relief to the center of the vintage (1979) setting. The feature diamond is flanked on either side with two marquise cut natural rubies, held horizontally on a twist within feature two claw / prong 18k white gold settings. The tapering, swept ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain 18k yellow gold. The interior of the shank is clearly hallmarked with the 18k mark 750, maker's mark 'DG'and date letter for 1979 (E.) This unique cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond certificate for the feature diamond in addition to the independent diamond grading report card illustrated.
