About the Item
A beautiful sapphire eternity band from the Art Deco era (ca1930s)! Made of platinum, this simple yet lovely band is comprised of a single row of cornflower-blue French cut sapphires. The stones are Ceylon in origin, and have no indications of heat treatment, further adding to the desirability of the band. The stones rest in a channel setting, which carries seamlessly around the entire outer entire surface. The top and bottom edge of the ring are decorated with intricate scrolling-motif engravings. This versatile design would look wonderful worn alone or stacked with other complimentary bands. A wonderful Art Deco ring, it is perfect for any sapphire lover and could make a special gemstone wedding band, or unique anniversary piece!
Measurements: The ring has a finger of size 6.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or sapphires, all of which are intact.
