About the Item
The Inipi ethical wedding ring is handmade using 18ct Fairmined gold. Added to the gold hand-stamped patterns create a unique artisanal ring you won’t find on the high street.
The 2mm diameter round band has been hammered slightly flat before adding the stamping.
It was inspired by my trip to New Mexico, a state in the US that has more than twenty-three Native American Indian nations.
The name Inipi is the Lakota name for a sweat lodge. I sat several times within the lodge. Prayers are given that draw on the four powers of the universe – Earth, Water, Fire and Air and it is considered a rite of purification.
By choosing this ethical wedding ring handcrafted with Fairmined gold, you are taking a stand against the horrors of greed and exploitation so prevalent within mining communities around the world and supporting people in creating a better life for themselves and their children.

I hand make Inipi in my London studio, United Kingdom.
This jewellery carries a high vibration of love. While working with gold, I sing ancient healing mantras and weave blessings and prayers into the very bones of each piece. I like to think of my jewels as ‘Little Gold Prayers’.
