About the Item
Bright blue natural zircon prong set in platinum and accented with fine fancy cut white diamonds. The well matched 8 baguette cut diamonds weigh 0.72 cts. They are estimated to be near colorless (G/H), and very slightly included. The vivid mediterranean blue color is well saturated with even vivid color, it weighs 6.5 cts. and is very slightly included.
Minerally speaking, Zircon is a durable zirconium silicate mineral with a hardness of 7.5 on the Mohs scale, it is highly refractive with strong dispersion, which gives it brilliance close to that of a diamond.
This is a well crafted new ring, a size 6.5, and can be resized. Fine platinum rings possessing wonderful diamonds and colored stones hold their value so much more than silver or low carat gold rings.
Because of its high refractive index (which means more light enters the stone and reflects back to the eye), zircons are a very brilliant stone - even more so than sapphires.
Zircons are meant to bring prosperity, wisdom and confidence to the wearer, this stone is a fine example of this popular gemstone.

All diamonds are from the earth. We never use lab grown, synthetic diamonds. Each piece of jewelry arrives in a fine gift-wrapped presentation box.

Unless stated otherwise, or stated exactly; all weights and grades are approximated by our Gemologist using both GIA Instruments as well as instruments used as a standard and accepted practice within our trade. All purities involving metals - gold, silver, platinum, palladium are approximated within 1%. This allows for the legal tolerance in the jewelry industry. For example, 14K usually indicates a purity of 58.3% gold. However, manufacturing jewelers can legally label a piece as 14K as long as it is above 13K, or 54.2%.
