An exceptional, fine and impressive antique German silver wine taster; an addition to our 17th century wine and drinks related silverware collection.
This exceptional antique German silver wine taster has a circular rounded, lobed paneled form.
The molded, paneled surface of the wine taster is embellished with the later engraved inscription 'To J.C.P.L from his Godmother E.L.A.E.T, Oct 5th 1894'.
The well of this silver wine taster is encircled with engraved textured decoration.
The impressive example of antique silverware is fitted with two cast scrolling handles with plain elevated thumbpieces.
