About the Item

A fine English wine funnel. In Sheffield plate (or silver plate). Dating to the George III period. In the form of a tapered, curved funnel and a removable strainer with hand punched holes. Simply a great piece of Georgian plate! Date: Late 18th to Early 19th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There is some edge wear (particularly to the ribs of the funnel), noticeable light scratching throughout, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
