About the Item

A very fine pair of crested Georgian Sheffield Plate campagna-form wine coolers. Made by T. J. Creswick of Birmingham, England. Each has an engraved armorial crest, reeded handles that terminate in figural masks, and a grape and grape leaf design rim. Each has a removable liner and is supported by an egg and dart foot. A truly fine pair of Georgian wine coolers! Date: Early 19th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall, good, as-pictured, used estate condition with some fine light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Condition Details: There is some copper bleed (mostly to high points), some nicks and dings to the surface, some high point flattening, and some light pitting and scratching to the liners.
