About the Item

A fine pair of antique English wine coolers. Each wine cooler is plated with silver on copper, has a gadrooned top rim, tops and liners that seat fairly well, ornate twin handles, and a stepped trumpet-form base. Both have had a crest or monogram buffed out, revealing rectangular sections of copper. Otherwise, they have a wonderfully aged look with copper showing through in high points and other spots. Simply a terrific pair! Date: 19th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition with some light dings and indentations, some noticeable edge wear, some high point wear, some fine light surface scratches, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. The tops seat fairly well but require a little bit of attention to line up correctly. Marks: One stamped 3 and the other stamped 4. Measurements: Height: ca. 10 1/2 in. Width: ca. 9 in. Depth: ca. 8 1/2 in. Items purchased from this dealer must delight you. Purchases may be returned for any reason for a period of 7 days.
