A fine pair of antique sterling silver plates or salvers. In sterling silver. By Tiffany Co. Each with a raised pattern around the circumference of the rim. With a stylized cursor "GSE" monogram to the center. Marked to the base with Tiffany Co. maker's marks / Sterling. Simply a wonderful pair of antique Tiffany dishes! Date: Late 19th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: Each with light scratches, spots of pitting, a few very light indentations, light scratches, some spots of persistent tarnish and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age Engraved: GSE Maker: Tiffany Co. Marks: Each marked to the base for Tiffany Co. / 8351 / M for the directorship of Edward Moore (1873 - 1891) / 7281 / Sterling Silver. Also with an inscribed 4-15 / 1086. Fineness: Marked Sterling for silver fineness. Measurements: Width: ca. 6 3/4 in. Depth: ca. 5 1/4 in. Height: ca. 3/8 in.
