Finds such as these Venetian Silver Candlesticks are incredibly rare, that truly deserve a museum display. It’s a fascinating piece of the XVIII century history, originating from Venice, Italy. Crafted in silver with exceptional attention to details: featuring Venice assay mark to the circular stepped monogrammed bases, with original fixed sconces (the majority of the antique candlesticks are missing these, which reflects on a value). Bearing a maker’s mark: “D.B.” – which stands for Domenego Bertoli. Height: 18.5cm Weight: 616gr. Despite dating from circa 1770’s, candlesticks are in remarkably beautiful condition The intricate details and craftsmanship of these candlesticks are outstanding, making it a very important piece potential valuable addition to your collection or home decor.
